Strangely brilliant: the world’s first inflatable Roof Rack It is an immensely strong, convenient and totally safe product which complies with ISO/DIS11154-1E. It comes in its own small carrying pouch, about the size of a toaster. It blows up in seconds (using the free pump supplied in the kit), can take up to 80kg of weight and can be fitted to just about any four door car.

To put that in some sort of perspective the HandiRack laughs in the face of four or more surf boards. Windsurfers and skis are a breeze. Ikea flat pack wardrobes can be neatly secured to the HandiRack with the supplied straps in approximately 17 hours less time than it takes to build the actual wardrobe.

It’s perfect for holidays; you can load your bags, your cases, even your Mother-in-law on top, and then when you reach your destination, simply deflate the rack and pop it in the boot. This avoids the tedious experience of having to drive around for a fortnight with a Meccano kit attached to your roof, using up fuel and making strange whistling sounds if you go over 35 mph.

Will it fit my car? Well we’ve tried The HandiRack on everything from a Rolls Royce to a Nissan Micra and it fits them all. If your car has doors…even Gull Wing doors or roof rails… then The HandiRack can be fitted easily and safely. We even fitted a HandiRack onto a Ferrari which doesn’t have traditional door frames, just windows that slide into the roof… and yes it still fits perfectly. So now you can sling your surf boards onto your Ferrari and look sporty as well as filthy rich. The only car we don’t recommend using it on of course, is a soft top. The HandiRack would still work, but your roof would cave in!
